In line with University Malaya Medical Centre's (UMMC) Golden Jubilee celebration, UMMC's management had organized a panel box poster competition in August 2018 titled '50 years of Department Achievements' which place focus to the respective department's establishment right til today.
There were a total of fifteen departments which joined the competition but there are a total of eight winners and each winner are able to decorate one of the panel box.

We are pleased to inform that our Pharmacy Department was chosen to be one of the eight departments to decorate the panel box.

13 - 15 November 2018:

A hearty congratulations to Quality Improvement Team (QIT) The Dynamite from our Pharmacy Department for the outstanding performance during the Annual Productivity & Innovation Conference and Exposition (APIC) 2018 held at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre (SPCC).

Their quality improvement project titled 'Inconsistent Achievement of Quality Objective at the Outpatient Pharmacy' was done to overcome the long waiting time faced by our UMMC's patients to collect their medications at the Outpatient Pharmacy. This project had earned them 5 Stars (Gold Award) at that national convention. Other than that, The Dynamite also managed to earn the Top 20 Best Government (Federal) Sector Team award.

APIC is an annual event held by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) to provide a platform and opportunity for both government and private organizations to improve the organization's productivity by cultivating both creativity and innovation. There are about 305 teams from 171 organizations (including both government and private organizations) which participate this year's APIC.

Once again, congratulations to The Dynamite!
