UMMC's Flood Relief Mission Phase 5

Updates:
General conditions are improving with most affected areas are resuming daily activities as per pre-flood.
However, there are areas affected by limited electricity and water still (e.g. Kosi 5, Manek Urai, Kuala Krai).
Main threats would be dust, clean water supply and stagnant water (dirty area).
Current number of evacuees in Kelantan is 62 families (255 victims).
Phase 5: 50 volunteers (deployed on the 21st January 2015)

Objectives:
To provide medical aid for the villagers in flood-stricken areas with poor access to health facilities.
For social and psychosocial assessment of the affected families.
For hygiene education as preventive measures on arising post-flood diseases.
