Please do note that the purchase of the Piperacillin 4 gm + Tazobactam 0.5 gm Combination Injection through tender can not be done yet due to the delay in receiving its tender award [T/885/7/2017/2020(11)].

Even though our Pharmacy Department has sorted out other means of securing the stocks, but the amount acquired is not sufficient to accommodate the current usage of this medication by the hospital.

As an alternative, doctors are advised to prescribe either:

Ceftazidime Injection + Metronidazole Injection

OR

Cefepime Injection + Metronidazole Injection
