PharmCare Pharmacy is an entity under the Outpatient Pharmacy which provides value-added service to UMMC patients with long term prescriptions. Medications will be prepared in advance for pick up at the PharmCARE counter by the patients or their representatives or for delivery via our service delivery partners. 

PharmCARE delivers all medications from the Outpatient Pharmacy except medications that are controlled under Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Cold chain medication delivery is only provided for patients who live in the Klang Valley area. Room temperature medications are delivered nation-wide.

Medications from PharmUMMC Pharmacy are not included in this service.

  3. Compounding of parenteral nutrition solutions, extemporaneous oral mixtures and external preparations.

  4. Repacking of tablets / capsules, creams / ointments, powders and mixtures from bulk to Ready-to-Dispense packs.

  5. Research and preparation of medication formulations and updating the stability profile of existing formulations.

  6. Collaborating in the execution of clinical trials.

  7. Training, education and validation in aseptic dispensing, parenteral nutrition and chemotherapy to healthcare providers.

  4. Safety and proper storage of medication stocks according to their respective requirements.
