Supply Requirement Update- 5 in 1 Vaccine (Pentaxim)

3rd May 2017 (Circular NO. SP PPUM: 148/2017):

UMMC is currently still experiencing shortage of supply of combined Diphteria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Inactivated Polio Virus and Haemophilus influenzae Type B Vaccine (5 in 1 Vaccine), also known as Pentaxim.

On 24th October 2015, when UMMC initially experienced the shortage, a ​supply guideline was introduced to ensure sufficient supply for patients of UMMC.

The guideline has now been updated to simplify the screening process for all clinics and wards in UMMC, as per shown in the flow chart below:
