Change in Formulary Categorisation- Lamotrigine, Topiramate and Levetiracetam

10th January 2017 (Circular NO. SP PPUM: 15/2017):

We regret to inform you that following the decision of UMMC's Tender Board on 23rd November 2016, categorisation for the following medications have been changed from Standard Formulary to Special Formulary:

  1. Lamotrigine 50 mg Tablet (LAMICTAL)

  2. Lamotrigine 100 mg Tablet (LAMICTAL)

  3. Topiramate 25 mg Tablet (TOPAMAX)

  4. Topiramate 50 mg Tablet (TOPAMAX)

  5. Topiramate 100 mg Tablet (TOPAMAX)

  6. Levetiracetam 250 mg Tablet (KEPPRA)

  7. Levetiracetam 500 mg Tablet (KEPPRA)

  8. Levetiracetam 1 gram Tablet (KEPPRA)

Once current stocks have been exhausted, these medications will be made available for purchase at PharmUMMC.
