Formulation Change- Colour of Morphine 10mg/mL Syrup

17th April 2017 (Circular No. SPJF: 16/2017):

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing has taken the initiative to change the colour of our Morphine 10mg/mL Syrup preparation from orange to yellow, to differentiate it from Morphine 2mg/mL Syrup.

Previously, both strengths of Morphine Syrup preparation was the same orange colour with only the label description differentiating the two.

Hopefully, the difference in colour will be an additional safety net when dispensing this medication.
