Medication Supply- Limitation for Oral Diazepam Tablet

13th October 2017 (Circular NO. SP PPUM: 368/2017):

UMMC's current supplier has reached its limit for supplying oral Diazepam Tablet set by the Malaysian Ministry of Health on Psychotropic Medications.

The supply is only expected to resume early in the year 2018.

Until that time, the doctors in UMMC is advised to prescribe oral Clonazepam Tablet as the alternative to oral Diazepam Tablet for patients needing this medication.

We deeply regret any inconveniences caused by the supply restrictions.
